Supporting Second Chance Programme
All funds are directed to the Queensland based volunteer run charity Second Chance Programme. They support a broad range of shelters through the Combined Women's Refuge Network and provide top up funding to fill the gaps in government support. Funds are provided to women for medical and clothing expenses, funds for a new mobile phone that cannot be tracked, and funds for retrieval services to recover personal possessions.
Second Chance also provide top up funds for affordable rental accommodation and support services for women rebuilding their lives. The charity has been operating for 22 years on overheads at less than 1% of income. This means the maximum amount of funds you donate go directly to the women and children who need it most.
